Education Center Is a Reality

Last time we reported our commitment to purchasing a parcel of land to support an education center furthering the work of Papa Tortuga. The commitment supports the mission of the Tecolutla Turtle Preservation Project (TTPP) to further efforts to preserve kemp's ridley sea turtles.  In the near term this beach front land will support volunteers, workers, researchers, and tourists as a prime location for camping.  Over time we envision a facility that will be able to house individuals in more comfortable accomodations, supporting longer term projects.  

Work is beginning on equipping the land with well water to support camping and facilitating access for vehicles.
